The Buffy the Vampire Slayer Sing-A-Long, an audience interactive celebration of the best television show ever, kicks off a sweeping nationwide tour at the theatre the started it all - the Coolidge. To celebrate, we're taking over the entire theatre for one night only and converting it into the ultimate High School Senior Prom!
The night begins with the Buffy Sing-A-Long, a big-screen presentation of "Once More With Feeling", the legendary musical episode from Buffy's sixth season. In the tradition of Rocky Horror and other interactive fan favorites, the audience sings along and participates in the show with props provided in our custom Buffy Goodie Bag. Finger puppets are waved, streamers pour over the audience, bubbles fill the air, kazoos blow, vampire teeth are worn, underwear is thrown (don't ask), and the audience implores Buffy's little sister Dawn to just "shut up!". But that's not all...
After all the singing and dancing on screen, everyone is invited to join us on the Coolidge's dance-floor stage for our first ever Buffy Prom Dance Party. Balloons, streamers, "Spike" punch, and classic 80s and 90s music will get you in the spirit for a night of glamorous gowns and hot tuxes, awkward slow dances...and possibly an attack from some vicious hell-beasts. This is Sunnydale after all. And of course, there will be that most cruel of Prom traditions, the awarding of a King and Queen based solely on popularity. Prom attire is encouraged!
During the prom we will be inviting everyone to prove themselves Slayer-worthy in the Class Protector Competition. Start with our Buffy Trivia Challenge, featuring three rounds of trivia based on those all important Scooby Gang attributes of Heart (Xander), Spirit (Willow), and Knowledge (Giles). Then the top Slayers will face-off in the ultimate acting challenge of Buffy-oke, recreating some of our favorite Buffy scenes, before facing off with our own "Big Bad". There can only be one Chosen One, who will receive our hand-made Class Protector Award.

i sent it to jenn, but she is leaving to go to mississippi saturday morning and is totally upset she's missing it. BUT the group is based out of nyc, and they do a show once a month. there is one the week before her wedding. maybe i will take her down to ny as a get away before the big day? a little sisterly bonding.
