what have i been up to?

there's a question. i would like to say that i have gone into hiding now that i have witnessed the sure sign of the apocalypse, but that would be a lie.

last weekend four out of five bridesmaids went into wedding mode. or i was in wedding mode and forced them to be as well. :o) friday night we made lists of wedding-related things, just trying to get on the same page(s). saturday we went bridesmaid dress shopping, where the girls decided that they should all wear the same dress. i had told them it just needed to be the same color/designer, but they all fell for a very pretty bari jay short number (in hunter green). well, liz, carey and sam did. champ didn't get a vote, but will look stunning anyway. jenn (my moh) is going to look for something longer. which is fine by me.

seeing as that didn't take very long, i started looking around for wedding dresses. which i still don't have. i am in wedding dress hell. every time i go i find something i like better. but nothing perfect. liz keeps saying i will know when i find it. perhaps. but i know that i would be happy with several that i have found. so i'm trying to keep that in mind to stop from freaking out. it's just a dress. though, i don't really believe that.

the hunt continued on sunday, when i went looking at another store. i found three more possibilities (but still not perfect), but my grandmother had better luck. mimi found a beautiful deep red jewel-toned 2 piece that is elegant and perfect for her.
